Position Summary:

Weld Technician is responsible for cutting and joining various types of metals and materials. You will operate appropriate equipment to construct mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision. Your job is important as it delivers the foundation for strong infrastructure of our products. A Weld Technician must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment while following all safety precautions. The ideal candidate will also have a steady hand and great attention to detail.

Role & Responsibilities

Position, align, and fit components together for welding Secure parts in position using bolts, clamps, and tack welds Set up welding equipment and perform welding using various techniques (arc, gas-shielded arc, submerged arc) Assemble parts using bolting and riveting methods Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts No supervisory responsibilities associated with this role

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
